Grabbed a couple of snaps from my son's school sports day this morning, nearly totally expired in the process! Not a great shot, had to cheat with the sky as don't posess filters and light was bouncing off of everything!, but liked the expressions of the crowd in the background. My son is the one wearing the England hat

Nice shot cat, you can feel the tension of the race in the photo. Who won (or is it one of those schools that doesn't advocate 'winning')?

No idea who won - wasn't my son! They run for their houses so it's all about cheering on your house rather than the individual He did come first in the relay though.... which kind of made up for the fact that he has contracted Hand Foot and Mouth and had to sit away from all the other children and then come home straight after he ran his races

I'm notgoing to have time to do much later so here's today's effort. It's a mask I picked up in Peru.

One of the benefits of a small school I expect, everyone knows everyone so no worries about parents taking photos... I'm always very cautious about sticking them in public forums though.

I just use NVU http://www.nvu.com/index.php - it's the only thing I've found simple enough
