Video editing software - to crop a video?

I'm looking for software, free preferably, that will let me crop a video. It has been take with a static camera and I want to crop the entire movie in one way. Removing the left hand third.
I reckon it must be pretty simple so thought I'd ask to see what was available to do it.

cheers.

Also is there any software that could remove the audio?

Try divx doctor free trial from www.divx.com.

It allows you to crop a full movie left, right, top, bottom.

I downloaded the dr divx trial. Couldn't find a way of cropping. Removed the audio though.
