Maybe you are missing the point of the current campaigns. Guinness have dug up all the old ad concepts and tweaked them to promote Guinness Extra Cold - there is loads on at the minute including the Surfer ad and the Prez Prado ad.

its the only one (guiness ad) I have seen recently so not aware of the latest campaign, so I take it I am right that he used to do them years ago if they are reusing older campaigns then?

yes, he used to do both their tv and radio ads.

probably my favourite radio ad ever was one of his, about a man on his way back from a dog show

The ones I've seen

The snail (there was one with a snail race)
fish on a bike (basically the same)
Perez Pardo (the same but with a guy not an eskimo)
Surfers (horses jump over the waves they're surfing)

I was wondering if they'd do the rutger hauer one and they did. Nice one

Slightly digressing. Anyone know what the Madness sounding, jazzy instrumental music with the catchy tune (that's now used all over the place), is called in most of the Guinness ads. I've been curious about this for years.

It was released as a single at the time of the ads - was a huge hit. Couldn't get away from the bugger.

regarding "Perez Prado - Guaglione", i heard an english vocal version of this song at the same time as the single, I`ve had no luck finding it, has anybody else hear this, or know its title.

Most of the guinness ads? They have different music in each one. The one mentioned about was only used in 1 ad (well 2 now)
