I'm really looking forward to Totoro on blu as it's one of my favourite Ghibli's, and I suspect will benefit from the greater detail.

I'm hoping Spirited Away and Porco Russo are announced soonish :)

Hi...

- Technically speaking, since "Castle of Cagliostro" was released in 1979, it is not a Ghibli movie. Studio Ghibli was founded in 1985.

- In "My Neighbour Totoro", the character's name is "Satsuki", not "Saksuki".

Fixed the typo (not ours I would add, but a reminder we really should check the press release for typos).

Yes the first point is true, but does it really matter? The old Manga DVD releases aside Cagliostro has and will probably always be released under the Ghibli banner overseas (or at least here in the UK).

Announcing they're releasing a film under the Ghibli banner which isn't technically a Ghibli film but is by the most famous director who is part of Ghibli just gets confusing.

Also worth noting it is referred to as a Miyazaki film by Studiocanal, not a Ghibli film (that was me for the reason I already gave), and I see the Studiocanal DVD release doesn't have the 'Studio Ghibli Collection' banner on it. So it'll be interesting to see if they give it a number and the Ghibli banner for the Blu-ray, or keep it separate.
