I'm already hoping wolves are in the Cup final , but as the eternal pessimist I'm don't think it'll be relevant by then. I desperately hope I'm wrong though!

If we can get 7th tied up by then we could have nothing to play for.
Alternatively we could just need a point to guarantee 7th and a possible European place, and you might need to win. Imagine a late equaliser...

On the other hand, the performance on Saturday looked like we were back on form, so as long as we can play like that or better we'll be okay. Basically we need to win every game from here on out because I don't see City dropping any more points.
This is going to go down the the last day...

So this clear statement from City yesterday ... is it more or less of a statement than us beating the team who, only 2 weeks ago beat Chelsea 4-0, 3-0?

So City have had their rough patch (4 defeats in 10) and are now going to not drop another point but, presumably, our rough patch ( 2 draws in a row ) isn't over ?

I think we've got a tougher run in than City.

With all due respect beating Chelsea 6-0 (a team we haven't beaten at Anfield since 2012) is a far bigger statement than beating a side we had already beaten 4-0 on their own patch two months ago.

It's all about opinions
Personally, before City played yesterday, I had our run-ins as being fairly equal; 5 identical fixtures, we have Everton (a) but they have United (a), they have Burnley (a) and Brighton (a) which won't be easy [ I certainly wouldn't want us to be playing away at Brighton on the last day if we needed to get a result ], City still have to play 2 of the only sides to beat them in the League this season (and Palace away is not easy in any case), etc, etc. If we're still there-or-thereabouts after Spurs, at the end of March, I would say we would definitely have a chance.

If we had to play Brighton away on the last day and needed to win to get the title i'd bite your hand off. Burnley ,City will thrash and Palace are better away than at home. Ourselves,Arsenal,Spurs & Chelsea have all won there this season. City will as well.

Just back, deserved draw for a wily Bayern. We lacked creativity, it's games like that we miss a Gerrard in his pomp. Given our horrendous away CL record i think that's it for us this season.

Our decision making in the final third was awful last night but other than that I, for one, was needlessly worried about Matip and Fabinho at the back as Bayern offered very little going forward.
Still got a reasonable chance IMHO of progressing and VvD back ( and shifting Fabinho back to midfield ) will certainly help.
It was my son's first experience of a European night on the Kop and he loved it.

A chance, but Bayern are now clear favourites.
Not sure having VvD back will help if it's up front we were lacking.

Not getting enough goals from midfield is a real issue.if the front three don't score then who is? City midfielders score for fun and I am sure Statto aka Adam will prove me wrong but I imagine Pogba has scored more goals this season than all our midfielders combined
