Totally missed what Klopp did at the end with Alisson and haven't seen the highlights yet but 5Live and Talk****e were slating him like mad. Was this immediately after the goal or at the end of the game ?

Unsurprisingly it was pure pandemodium when Origi scored - no better way to beat the Blue noses.

Guardiola did exactly the same thing when Sterling scored a last gasp winner against Southampton last season. nothing happened to him that I can recall,Klopp will get a fine and a touchline ban I bet.

Danny Mills is a right miserable ******, he wouldn't stop going on about it, disrespectful, could have incited a riot, etc. There was nothing aggressive about it, none aimed at Everton fans, and running to the middle of the pitch is about as far as you can get away from the whole crowd!

So glad we're on the right end of a keeper's brain fart for a change! Good assist from Virgil as well!

My wife said exactly the same.

So handball......
In the North London derby Vertonghen gives away a penalty and gets booked when the ball hits his hand and everyone agrees it's because his hand is in an unnatural position (i.e. above his head).
In the Merseyside derby the ball hits Sigurdsson's hand when it's quite a way from his body and people say it wan't a penalty because he had his back to the ball. He's also actually stopped a shot at goal, which Vertoghen didn't do.
In my mind there wasn't a huge amount of difference to the two incidents, yet there was a very different outcome. I assume from next year with the changes both will be given?

The more you read the comments from Danny Mills the more he comes over as a complete and utter knob. According to him, no one has done anything like it before and certainly not Ferguson, Kidd, Guardiola or Mourinho ... Oh, wait

Way below average player, even worse pundit.

I think we can all agree that Danny Mills is a knob. In pretty much in one post whining about running on the pitch being an arrestable offence and the next advocating physical violence

Also, as he's now the moral voice of reason in all of football, I'm glad to see he's been just as vocal in admonishing the ignorant 1980s style racism at the North London derby ...

Klopp gets an FA charge for which the standard punishment, apparently, is an Ł8k fine. We will see.

For comparison, Guardiola has admitted he did exactly the same thing against Southampton last season but did not get charged.

Harder than it should have been but the selection 'gamble' paid off in the end

At this rate not expecting Chelsea to get anything off City at the weekend though

True. Hopefully it is not too bad.

Easier to say post win but that was another game where the ref was shocking; Gomez's injury is due totally to the unpunished (?) tackle, Moreno is lucky his leg isn't broken & what should have been a straight red card didn't even result in a free kick and the less said about their goal the better ( offside and kicked the ball out of Alisson's hands )

VAR can't come soon enough. Roll on August [ or even February if we do the business on Tuesday ]

Up to 6 weeks isn't bad - considering how bad it looked last night. And it tells you all you need to know about English managers and the FA that the dangerous scissor tackle that caused it is lauded as a great/fair tackle by them.

Maybe Klopp will actually start using a RB as a backup to TAA now

Irrespective of the outcome it wasn't as bad as the Bardsley one
