News sci-fi on Youtube premium - Origin. It's a little bit Millennials in Space but quite watchable and good production values. First couple of episodes directed by Paul W. S. Anderson.

AT LAST! The Good Place comes to a free channel in the UK. E4 from 13th December I think it said.

I envy those who’ve not seen it and are about to be stunned by its twists.

Hmm.. saw a trailer for this show on E4 a couple of nights ago, in the ad break of Big Bang Theory. Looks quirky - but I know nothing about it.
So worth a watch then?

Yes, especially if you have any love for Parks & Rec or Brooklyn Nine-Nine (same creator).

It's very good & definitely well worth a watch, but I'd offer the caveat that it has been massively overhyped by some reviewers as the second coming of TV comedy.

Okay, cool. Parks & Rec is easily my favourite TV show of all time.

Fine. I've not seen any reviews, plot synopses or opinions other than this thread!

I gave up after 6 episodes and I only lasted that long because of all the rave reviews. Just not my kind of thing at all

I think it’s for stronger with each season. I love it.

Cowboy Bebop is to be made live action by Netflix

Is this a good idea?

Can the weirdness translate to live action without being creepy?

No way are they going to show all the cleavage

Cue who should play whom and how on a budget of say $2,000,000 (pulled that figure out of thin air; or my arse as someone else will say) an episode can they do this series the justice it deserves?

Finished watching Narcos:Mexico & it was fantastic from start-to-finish. Film quality visuals & acting throughout. I knew little of what went on in Mexico back in the 80's so the story was a revelation. I knew the corruption was bad, but not THAT bad!

Great set-up for next season too. Not confirmed yet by Netflix but they'd be a fool not to.
