The appeal of the windfall bond from my limited reading is that you get annual interest (currently 0.75%) as well as the potential for 'winning' tax free prizes (64 to 1 with the minimum prize being 1,000 and the max, 50,000). The investment is protected by the FSCS. Seems like it could be worth a punt .
