Problem is, nobody seems to be able to get you where you want to be? Look at Sunderland, how many managers must they go through.

I guess it's a sign of the times.

Sad. I really don't like Sherwood, but Villa are a joke of a club at the moment, on the verge of becoming Portsmouth.

Continuity wins stuff.

Remi Garde being strongly linked?

I guess Sherwood is the troubleshooter you needed to keep you up last season but that's about his limit seemingly.

Yeah i think he's a short-term fixer. Bit of a motivator but not a lot more at the moment. He did lose the two best players though and Villa's recruitment policy is very hit and miss.

Villa have been a bit of a bogey side for Liverpool, but yesterday they were shockingly bad, they should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

Got to say I really feel sorry for Villa fans. The club have been flirting with relegation for too long now and to finally do it in the summer before the huge windfall from the new TV rights deal comes in is terrible for the club. It'll be very hard to get back out of the Championship, especially under the current owners and leadership.

Especially with the current squad, the Championship is not an easy league to get out of, I think it is what happens when an established team gets new owners who seem to be happy just to be in the PL, then others get ambitous and they slowly sink to the bottom. Very sad to see, think they'd need a miracle to turn it around.

Well, might as well note it. Done and dusted. Down and likely out for a while.

In-fighting reigns:

Shambolic.

Don't worry David Moyes has thrown his hat in the ring!

Big day Saturday. Trying to get tickets to go but unlikely.

I think we'll do it BTW.

What normally happens is that the cheap seats gets snapped up and there are normally a few expensive tickets left, but Villa might have a bigger fanbase than PNE.
