The latest Humax Freeview Play box lets you set and view recordings via an app.
It also lets you live view another channel if the box is on.
(My wife finishes off watching her Midsomer Murders this way when MOTD starts)
I admit it's not the same as viewing on another telly though.

I’ve got a little box attached to my free view box that replicates the magic eye - takes the output off the scart socket - can’t check it at the moment as in hospital for a couple of days - uses the cabling from the oringinal magic eye to connect

Nothing better to do - so checked my amazon history

TRIAX TRI-LINK Kit Control Sky, Freesat, Freeview around the home £50ish from amazon

I don’t get any sky channels with that, just freesat. Annoyingly Dave is on free view but not freesat. Apart from that it’s fine
That maybe Sky's Freesat (view) true FreeSat give many more channels - not sure about Dave mind.

Dave is on the true FreeSat. Channel 4 HD is no longer on the true FreeSat though...
