The tour bootlegs are now all available to buy and download - I downloaded Milton Keynes.

Eddie Vedder has released a live cover of Imagine to support a charity that helps Israeli and Palestinian musicans work together:

Grabbed it off iTunes, even though I still haven't bought or listened to his last LP. Quite a nice cover, suitably goosebumpy in places. Don't listen to Pearl Jam as much as I used to, but he does have an incredible voice.

It actually inspired me to revisit Lightning Bolt today. Didn't care much for it at all when it was released, but it was better than I remembered this time.

The band are releasing something I never expected to see in this day and age - a huge deluxe slipcase book of complete musical scores. Amazing! Just a shame the transcriptions have been done by Hal Leonard. Will fit in perfectly besides my Beatles Complete Scores book anyway.

I was all over this until I factored in cost of shipping. $118 is a lot for a reference book.

Sweeeet, that's a bit better.

Was worried it'd be a Ten Club only thing.

Amazon despatch now down for June 15th for those that pre-ordered.

Looks to have been taken off sale from main site.

I've unfortunately entered a severely low earnings phase and had to cancel but I've heard that the book is basically unavailable and delayed everywhere.

Pearl Jam have released a new single, apparently a new album is forthcoming too. It's called Can't Deny Me.
Eddie sounds a lot like Chris Cornell in parts of this!

Obviously Trump has lit a bit of a fire under them, and they're back to political songwriting. It's sort of catchy, but feels like it could fit on any of the previous couple of albums. I kind of wish they would progress their sound now. Their production has made things tighter and tighter over time and I'm missing the rawness, the last album that had that was probably Riot Act. Eddie also seems more interested in shouting than singing melodies now, too.
