Question Watch live terrestrial TV via internet on my TV?

For some reason we are having loads of Ariel problems lately and wondered what we need to watch live TV over the Internet on our TV.

TV is not a smart TV.

I have a good app for iPad called ToView, so would getting a Apple TV box work or is it not that simple?

Also have Xbox One if there are any apps on that.

Dave

I've not used Apple TV, but the Amazon Fire TV box or stick gets the basic channels. I'm sure theres an app for it that streams most of the other Freeview channels too.

Do you have anything PC/Tablet related that will connect to your TV? On Android I use Mobi-TV. Used it last week to watch GP on my Phone while playing on PC on big TV..

What about just sorting out a new aerial or position of aerial?

Amazon fire box or stick has an app, forget its name, seems to work pretty well and let me watch the Euros on it.

Yep, Amazon stick has BBC iPlayer for all your BBC needs (live and catchup) and TVPlayer app has all the main terestrial channels on live as well, so that'll get you ITV, Ch4 and 5, plus most other freeview channels.

If it's a big telly the quality might not be brilliant though, most are 720 or lower.
