Rebooting Robocop AGAIN is so completely pointless as was the last attempt.

It's not a reboot. It's a direct sequel to the original that was written but never produced in the late 1980s.

It would have been nice to see the old suit back up and running to make amends for that god awful remake we had a few years ago; although that was still light years ahead of the utter piece of **** that is Robocop 3.

NB seems to talk more about making movies than making them. First alien now Robocop its not like he had to create the ideas from scratch. These are existing IPs worlds already built just take it a little further, heck in Alien's case people would be happy to go back to basics and cutout all the creator/origin fluff.

For Alien though being able to go back like he wanted was a load of cobblers; no way you can de-age convincingly to make SW look like she did in 86 and the same goes for MB and LH. If you are gonna try you may as well make the movie CGI like Final Fantasy and just have the actors dub. Plus SW has Avatar to work on; god knows who wants another one of those shame on you J Cameron and give us the Abyss in anamorphic widescreen you *******!

We don't want it in Anamorphic widescreen, it was filmed in Super 35, we just want a nice 4K scan and 1080/2160p release from that.

You are reaching for the moon now; JC (not Corbyn) will make you wait years for your request.

1990 we get the Abyss on VHS

10 years later...

2000 we get it on DVD - non anamorphic

20 years later (almost)

You'll be lucky to get the limited edition DVD release of the anamorphic version of the theatrical cut.
