He's not on the BBC anymore, so I guess he is a law unto himself. I guess when he has a global audience he might feel the need to be a little more PC, I guess they won't be visiting Argentina.

Presumably they were mocking the celeb guests they were made to have on Top Gear which I believe they were not fans of. I'm guessing they have no intention of having some celeb plugging their book on the show generally and doing it in a vaguely humorous way

Not really - just seemed like the same old thing we've seen 1000 times before to me - with added "LOOK AT OUR BUDGET" visual shouting.

Other than the things they weren't allowed to use, I'm not sure why people are surprised it's exactly the same thing as TG.

I've been following Drivetribe on Jalopnik. There was a pretty decent overview on it yesterday.

Everything is fine. Top Gear is not Clarkson. La, la, la. We're not listening. *puts fingers in ears*

The thing is we'd have probably not got new things like this from the trio had they still been at the BBC so in that respect they've lost nothing.

No sign of episode 2 yet. Ep1 was up at this time last week.
Ignore me! It's still Thursday. Damn Black Friday adverts!

Are we going to get a straight run of 12 episodes? Are we getting a Christmas special?

Am I right in thinking DriveTribe is just an internet channel for everything automobile?

Well most of EP2 was a let down to be honest

Nothing really stood out as a good bit, the army nonsense went on far, far too long.

Yeah I'm half way through and it feels a lot like one of those old Top Gear filler episodes. They can't have blown through their budget that quickly...
