They're not going to let him in anything more expensive than a 15 year old Fiesta after that.

I can see the next big race across a continent. Clarkson in a LaFerrari, May in a P1 and Hammond in a Kia.

My thoughts were why the car burned as completely as it appears to have.

This guy asks the question too - I wonder if they will publish any investigation findings.

Do you think the last shot with that electric car was intentional?

I have to say I was really looking forward to TGT, but as the first series went on, I kind of lost interest. Didn't help that it was much less family friendly than before, but they seemed to take their childish delight of being able to swear and make innuendoes to new levels. I know its always been scripted, but even that seemed to be much, much worse than when they were on the Beeb.

Meanwhile, Top Gear's return to form came at just the right time, so fast forward to season 2 looming and I'm more than a bit "meh" at the prospect to be honest.

Jeremy Clarkson will have to take a break from work for "quite some time" after contracting pneumonia, the TV presenter has said in a statement.
Pneumonia is no joke, hope he does take it easy and doesn't try to rush back too early to fit the season 2 schedule (which I assume at this stage is mainly the studio bits left to film.)

It doesn't surprise me, he's getting on a bit and clearly doesn't look after himself. I think they need to realise that they're not getting any younger and eventually they're not going to be able to do some of the things they get up to. Nothing ever lasts forever and I wonder how many series/episodes they are contracted to deliver to Amazon.

They're contracted for three series. I tend to agree, I don't see them renewing after that on the same terms. I certainly wouldn't want to be doing that in my mid-50's either. Maybe they'd leave it there, or do the occasional Christmas special style road trip or something. I'm sure Hammond's crash a few weeks ago gave him a bit to think about too.

Looks good, however I'd add that the car film bits were always pretty good last series, it was the studio bits that were awful.

Studio bits should be a bit better this time as they aren’t moving it each week and it’ll be based in the cotswolds or so I have heard
