Not sure United would care, they've already given away £3m for the rearranged fixture.

You'd think the United second team could give Bournemouth a decent game regardless.

Do we use Group 4?

Play the kids, they did okay this season, didn't they?

Maybe it'll turn out that it's not really LVG at Old-Trafford but just a non-viable replica left there by a training company

Good to hear that at the end it was a false alarm. Sounds as though it was a well drilled exercise to evacuate.

A question though concerning the Re-arrangement of this game and the team to play. Had the team sheet been handed in on for the match on Sunday? If so would that named team then have to be the same team for the re-arrangement? or could it be enforced by the FA

Especially now with knowing that essentially Utd can not make the CL spot that was there to be gained, not play the full first team and "rest" them for the FA cup game.

No it can't be enforced. Wjat about subsequent injuries etc - players who can play two games in quick succession.

Would suggest we play some reserves/ youngsters. There's only one important match left, and it aint against Bournemouth.

They should play the full team (as arranged before ) not the reserves unless of course there are injuries, then play the full team in the final or play the rearranged match after the final.

Why 'snowdon1975' should we play the full team. On Saturday we had 7 days to recover. Tuesday is only 4 days.

Might there be some comeback if you don't play a decent side? I don't recall if anything has happened in previous years, I recall a Chelsea v Man Utd game at season end was a kids v kids fixture. Only minor complaints might be if Bournemouth win from those who they finish just above, but I strongly doubt it. I'd have thought Bournemouth have already had to cancel their holidays.

The previous arranged match, Utd had something to go for but now the horse has bolted they chop it around for the cup.

If they play the reserves on tuesday then they should also play the reserves in the cup.

I think De Gea will play at least, as he needs one more clean sheet to win the Golden Gloves outright.

United could probably happily put out a first 11, different to the one named yesterday, that could both challenge Bournemouth and be considered strong enough to not be considered underhand.

DDG off if LVG stays. This was so obvious. No decent player in their right mind would stay or come to OT with the loon we have. The lack of leadership by woodward is 100% to blame. I only hope that getting rid of the fraud is not too late, & any decent players haven't already made their minds up to go to other clubs because of lack of action (ambition) by woodward & his cronies.
