You're on five points, it'll be about four games before you're in a relegation dogfight. September doesn't look a massively great month to pick up some easy wins either

I would say it is not just this season - and they haven't really played anyone decent yet either.

United's long term form ( 13 points from a possible 42 ) is relegation form not mid table form

Sanchez doesn't regret joining Man Utd

Spoiler - the reason is in the third paragraph

Decent win at the weekend. Are we only posting when there is something to whine about?

Traffic is so quiet on here, maybe we should have a joint City & United thread.

Ha ha ha ha ha. No.

In other news, Dave has finally signed a new contract. Which is nice.

Guessing it’s because Micon has stopped posting on the Liverpool and City threads and winding them up enough to argue on here too!

Talk about making heavy weather...finally a goal to spare our blushes! No exaggeration, if City were playing this lot they'd be 5-0 up by now... ...going to be a real looooong season

I don't know about that. Rashford should have had a hattrick, we hit the post / bar on numerous occasions and their keeper played a blinder.

On another night we would have won 5-0.

Plus good performances from some of the youngsters, and possibly Rojo's best ever outing.

Not all doom and gloom.

Appalling, as usual...apparently, since Fergie left it's taken £900million for us to get to this team, we're just going nowhere... ...Ole will be out by Christmas and who could argue!

...massively depressing, although, thankfully, I'm starting not to care anymore!!

Can't argue with much of that, although Fergie did leave us in the **** a bit.

Would the likes of Thomas Tuchel be able to do any better than LVG, José or Solskjaer? I hope so.

I agree about losing enthusiasm a little. The older I get the more that real life takes over and football takes a backseat. Couple that with this current team and it means I don't even bother to catch the highlights at the moment.

Ole got rid of some decent deadwood in the summer, he's got some decent players in but we're clearly in need of someone creative and it's also obvious that Pogba is not going to stick around. He'll need another £200 million to get anywhere near the top 3 and there's little to suggest he's the man to attract the kind of talent we really need.

Don't know what else to say - didn't expect to win today and wasn't at all surprised at the result. The reports say that I've saved 90 minutes of my life by doing something else. So a result for me, if nothing else.

Well, a penalty shoot out away from going out to Rochdale...with respects to the league 1 side, this is how low we've fallen...disgraceful!

Behave.

We were **** at the weekend, but you can't count a league cup match, with a weakened side in the same way.

How far have Tottenham fallen, losing to a League Two side?

Anyway, we're through.

I count every match now League cup was our best chance of silverware...I say 'was' as we have Chelsea away! Should be on live I s'pose so could be a painful watch

Good reminder last night about what Pogba brings to the party...a new hairstyle, that's about it!

Well, we're 10th and that flatters us! One of the worst United v Arsenal games I've seen, pitiful performances from both teams... ...we are definitely heading in the WRONG direction

...Pogba showing his true worth yet again, seems the only reason we still have him is cos' nobody else wants him!

...lose at Newcastle and Ole is toast methinks

Hard to see what we gain from playing an under-strength team when what we really need is match time together.

No shots on target. Big mistake not bringing in a striker.

The players we brought in were great, we just stopped short of an attacking midfielder and striker, which we desperately need

Never get this playing a weakened team thing, especially when you're not doing well. I'm fairly certain Liverpool doing it in the FA Cup last year cost them the title.

Nothing learned last night except we have no real desire to win anything this season. We are in shockingly poor form and it is not really the time to blood the youngsters...were not going to win anything with these kids that's for sure! I s'pose a point was a good result considering they were the only team looking likely to win...De Gea kept us in it to be fair, so I s'pose that's a plus from the game.

I know Mata has a lot of respect here but I just can't see what he brings us anymore...he's worse than Lingard who is hopless!!
