You and I might not agree with the silly money thrown at failing teams, but that's football. Look at the alternative: getting outplayed by West Ham and Brighton and being off the pace already and it's only October.

Sorry, but we're talking about two different clubs with vastly different budgets, apparently you have to sell to buy.

We absolutely don't from what I hear.

But budget makes no difference ... for all his bleating Mourinho has spent just as much as Guardiola and a shed load more than Klopp and yet his team is vastly inferior. I can't think of any club on the planet that would continue to let it's manager constantly buy poor players without restraint.

Sorry, I thought the big discussion was about Courtinho money being spent on the record signings?

He's spent less than Pep, but not a vast amount, and tbf, there's only a couple of clubs with the same sort of budget.

don't you judge at season's end? United finished comfortably ahead of us last season so not sure how you reckon they are "vastly inferior"

But Pep has spent it on quality rather than quantity. You also think no other manager, for example, would agree that Sanchez was worth 400k a week just to train (he gets another £75k every time he plays apparently). That is not just Woodward's fault - surely the manager would have agreed that he is worth that much.

That was more by luck than skill Let's put it this way - how many of their first XI would walk into ours ? I would possibly take Matic (or at least the Matic that left Chelsea) but that's about it.

Salah wouldn't get in a lot of other sides this season, things change quickly.

Salah's so called 'under performance' so far this season is kind of a myth. He has scored the same amount of goals this season as he had done at the same stage last season and is also clearly still recovering from the shoulder injury sustained at Kiev.

Indeed though the front 3, as a unit, don't seem to have clicked yet this season.

As I have said recently, this is the worst Man U team I have ever watched. The players are on the pitch, not Mourinho, not the board, & as much as I blame the board first for accruing this motley bunch, I blame the players first. If I had my way all this team bar DeGea & possibly Rashford would be gone. The board changed & lastly Mourinho .

Fans are chanting "Jose's right, the board are *****."

As others have said, "The players are trying to get Mourinho out", well I don't want any player in my team who plays like that.
This is a perfect example of too much money going to the players, they don't care, why should they?

If we don't turn this around (...highly unlikely but still possible), then Mourinhos sacking will fill the back pages tomorrow! Things surely have to change!!

At least Manchester's Anthony Taylor is trying to keep you in the game ... how on earth he gives a blatant handball as a goal kick is anyone's guess.

Maybe Jose shouldn't have agreed for them to be paid so well then.

As I've said before, I feel sorry for José, the players are just not trying.

Strange eyes you have, weve had blatent penalties turned down & you never mention those. Also are you shouting about the blatent penalty we should have had even in this game.
