Finally started this and loving the first 6%. It's got a distinct Children of Men / V For Vendetta vibe early on.

In other news I just sold my first copy in Canada apparently...

What a coincidence... I've had something up on the kindle store a while (won't link as I don't want to start any possible thread-jack scenario) which has done virtually nothing because I haven't got off my arse to do any marketing, but out of the blue I got a sale in Canada too a few days ago. I like to think it's an eccentric publisher looking for first-timers to offer book deals to.

Best of luck with yours, by the way.

You can't say that and not link to it.

Share and I'm sure you'll get a few sales here. And congrats (to you both) - it's a mighty achievement getting a novel out.

As it happens I've just found out my Amazon kindle account whatnot that I never look at (by which it's free to Prime kindlers) is due for expiry soon, so I have a few days to apply a freebie promotion. Mine's not a novel, and agents have already called it 'unmarketable', but I'll probably bung it up soon at the temporary bargain price of zero, and will make a new thread accordingly.

I'm intrigued! Post a link.

You've got to remember that quite a few people will have kindle unlimited and digital promotional credit kicking about.

It still shows up as £1.99 when I click on the link. Is the sale supposed to start later?

Oh, it's still 'pending' according to Amazon KDP... I might have posted that a bit early. Sorry!
Should be updated in a few hours or so, usually it doesn't take that long for a price change.

My review is the first one, is that because I wrote it for my own info or because my review is best?
