Not spectacular and really just finishing of the seasons opener but I thought this was another solid episode again this week, Thy do seem to have a better idea of where they are going this season

Is this going the way of the A-Team with the Talbot storyline?

Nice to see Kyle MacLachlan in there, hopefully good things to come.

Its mindless fluff but another strong episode again this week if they can keep this up over the whole season it will be a pretty TV series after the shambles of the 1st half of season 1 oh and the end fight was awesome

Yeah I loved the jumping head-smash to end it.

She's come a long way since being Sheen's judge girlfriend on Two & A Half Men!

really enjoyed it this week... just seems generally more well rounded compared to last season... i wonder if they'll have another audacious tie in with the movies... age of ultron, or ant man next yeah. with the german lad looking for the obelisk and von strucker being part of aou it wouldn't be too much of a stretch...

Ming-Na Wen maybe 50 but damn it she looked mighty fine this week

Also there will be undoubtedly movie tie ins that happen on Earth, They visited the aftermath of Thor 2 in London and Captain America 2 obviously has had a huge impact on them.

I thought it was a decent episode. McLachlan was great and the new girl is quite tall isn't she.

Simmons looked very nice in this episode too.

Nothing wrong with the episode, pretty standard for SHIELD.

I don't know about the plots... as Shield can drag its heels in that respect... but the acting and scripts on Shield are leagues ahead of Flash and Arrow. Those shows are typical in their Smallville style humourless, with complete indifference to a sense of irony or any need for subversion.

really enjoying this new series, personally...

it'll be a shame when it's inevitably cancelled.

It is highly unlikely to be cancelled as it is part of the ongoing Marvel cinematic universe. Disney own ABC (the network that shows AOS) and it will not kill the goose that lays the golden egg. If they cancel it it will be perceived as a dent in Marvel's armour that could kill the franchise.

Anyway I'm sure Netflix or Amazon would pick it up in a flash.
