Installed any - useful - apps recently?

Can't think what the last thing was I downloaded that I use with any regularity, aside from specific things like the local bus app.

Seems like 'peak app' was about 5+ years ago and there hasn't been anything of note since the heady days of Shazam or whatever.

Shortcuts on my iPhone.

You can do some pretty clever stuff with it - I've got one which gives me the Amazon price history of an item (I didn't create that from scratch - just Google for it and it's easy to find).

One I have done myself is for my commute home - message my wife to give her my ETA, start playing podcasts from my smart playlist in Overcast and setup Waze (satnav).

nope, not a scam at all. All depends on your community as to how successful it is. I use it quite regularly. I think there may be some scam versions kicking around, but the one I have linked to is legit.
