Chances are if you get this in the first week it'll get double disney like you get with bambi double pack. That'll be 600 which is almost enough for another disney bluray, if you sign up and search the forums theres some codes that'll give you some free points as well

That is if they actually work! I tried the Bambi/Bambi 2 Blu ray and got 150 points instead of 600 earlier today. With the Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 set there were no points at all.

Still waiting for the help line to sort that one out since last year.

I e-mailed them about the Fantasia one and they eventually sorted it out. It took a while but they did

Hmmm. I'm tempted by this. Good price, but I'd rather have the US special edition.

I'm tempted too, but couldn't be arsed with a special edition.
My main concerns are:
1) The original, which I haven't seen in decades, is going to look totally cheesy
2) The new one, which I haven't seen, is a style-over-substance mess but will look and sound incredible

Anyone want to give me some guidance??

Also I have one of those 15% codes which bring it down to £15.25, which is not bad at all.

Those 15% codes got pulled a week or so ago. Even if you have one, you will find it no longer works, unfortunately.

1) It does. I guess it depends how much you appreciate it for nostalgia reasons.

2) I liked Legacy a lot. Yes it's slight plot wise, but so is the first. Personally I think it's much more fun than the mediocre critical reviews would have you believe, and there's no doubting it'll look and sound the mutts nuts in HD.

I thought the first film looked pretty superb when it was on Sky HD.
