Haven

This starts tonight at 10 on Syfy and Syfy HD.

Quote:
Haven, based on Stephen King's novel The Colorado Kid, stars Emily Rose as FBI agent Audrey Parker who takes up residence in the small town of Haven, Maine and soon discovers the town’s many secrets.
It's just been picked up for a second season too which is a good sign.

Is anyone watching this already?

I am, but struggling. It's a bit "WTF, are these people a bit dim" Strange things happen and the people not in the know about the 'Troubles' just pass it off as just another day.

Overall it's getting better, but for me it's not a must watch show.

I am. It is a bit of a slow burner, but I am really enjoying this at the moment.

I'm mainly watching this because Emily Rose voiced Elena in the Uncharted games. Oh yeah, and Gabe from Six Feet Under.

Currently watching episode one....the biggest case to solve would be who nicked everyones ability to act.

The lead actress is so poor...I was looking forward to this, and so far I am very disappointed!

Wasn't too bothered about this at the start and just staked them up on my hard disk to watch if I had nothing else to watch.

However last Saturday I ended up blowing my way through 9 in a row and really got into it.

Glad it got a pick up for S2 as the last scene was a real WTF moment and definitely needs a conclusion.

gotta admit it was a bit of a grower and had quite a nice feel to it by the end. Nothing major or special, but better than a lot of standard guff that gets produced at the moment.

I'm watching on syfy, just started with I think ep 9, though doesn't appear to be lacking from missing the past 8.

its nice, a sort of harpers island vibe to it (its an ep where they are on an island for blondies birthday party and one of them IS A BAD ONE)

Watched the first 2 but there's no chemistry between the leads and that guy is more wooden than a desk. I like the guy who lives on the boat but that's about it. Gave up weeks ago.

Willow, I found it a bit meh at first but as it goes on the characters start to gel together and there is the basis of an arc forming.

Also, the last ep has a genuine WTF moment right at the end.

I'll keep an eye out for a repeat on sy-fy then, maybe give it another shot. I do like the idea, love supernatural stuff, but it struggled to keep my attention. Actually, might be better waiting for the dvd and do it one go.
