I thought her "if I want something I get it" towards the end was pathetic. Made her sound like a spoiled brat. Her bottle was instantly forgettable too, and I thought Chris made a better job of the final task overall. The problem was that Stella was so far ahead of Chris by the time they came to the final that any decision other than the one he made would have been farcical.

Chris should never have made the final. If either Jamie or Liz had been against Stella the final wouldn't have been a foregone conclusion, but as it was there was only ever going to be one winner.

Right person won IMO. She's been the most consistant out of the lot and can seem to manage a team of people very well.

I still don't get the Baggs love here. He reminds of a type of person who sprouts a lot of **** and is an ass kisser. I used to work with people like that and Baggs reminds me of how much I hated it. He had some good ideas but tended to act like a child unfortunately.

There was by no means a full contingent of ex-contestants helping out with the task. Baggs and the big-eyed girl were missing, for example. Is this normal? I thought they all had to be available.

"Stella will take up a role as product manager implementing projects for hospitals and schools for Sugar's Viglen Group."

"Both contestants have been working for Sugar since they completed filming."

He's just been pulled up on the fact its a pyramid and not a prism on BBC morning TV by Shan Lloyd - someone did mention it when the programme was filmed but they just ignored that small matter.

Cool - I'll give her a call to find out why the £20,000 worth of Viglen computers I bought for my school aren't working properly then. Wish I'd gone with (been allowed to go with) Dell.

The 'big eyes' is Sandeesh, who I missed too. Joy wasn't there either, although I don't think anyone remembered...

Maybe Stella can tell Bordan its Internet Service Provider

well as they had 16 contestants, they only need a few back for the final task usually its 3 for each person, not 4!

I was happy with the result, if Chris won, it would forever more say "I won;t take an older, more experienced one, so dont bother applying" (ie simon over christina and other examples)

Did think it sweet that Stella cried when told the result, considering that they must have filmed that ending a year ago, and of course an alternate "chris win" won (and then he only told her a few days ago who the winner was). so very good acting then from her.

Mel was on a tight leash too. Maybe someone had a word? She exited the show spitting venom, but returned yesterday with the much-predicted crap-eating grin.

Perhaps a few reasons.

And I'm not saying I like him, it's just how you, as a professional are supposed to handle people and not make yourself look bad also.

1: He is young.

2: He spouted a lot of hot air, but then they all did to varying degrees and they are of course told to big themselves up stupidly for the start of show filming. He just gave it that bit extra

3: He is successful already at 21 from nothing (yoyo playground) to running various things with more money turnover than many of us will ever see.

4: In the interviews they obviously went through everything he said, trying to trip him up and make him look a fool and that he was all full of hot air and the best they could come up with, in everything he had put was a technicality on the definition of a telecoms operator.

5: He fought his corner very well in the boardroom where others are told that is the place where you have to fight for your life and if you don't put on a good show there you were out, and he did fight for himself big time.

6: Alan Sugar swore at him and called him a liar on national TV based upon this one technicality.

7: They were still picking on him in the audience last night and you could see on his face it was hurting him and he was struggling to put on a smile and fake laugh when expected to.

Again, I'm not saying I like the guy, however, I think he was handled very unprofessionally.

I agree, kind of felt sorry for him last night, yes the guys a pratt but not nasty by any means. Theres plenty more nasty people in there them him, Joanne, Stella, Melissa for example are all a damn site more unpleasant then him. Stella may be at a push but her go at Chris in the final last night maybe showed up something she had hidden well, though she was the queen of dirty and catty looks and did come across smug sometimes.

Plus of course, Stuart (like the guy or not) was an incredibly keen person firing on all cylinders to get somewhere, and if anything would have been an "Apprentice" to take all his fire (or bullpoo) and focus it correctly.

Stella (and I'm glad she won) is not an apprentice.

She just fits in very nice, mostly a finished article to do a job.

If I was running a business, and wanted some keen fresh blood as an "Apprentice" to train up which would involve a LOT of knocking into shape, Someone like Stuart would be a much better choice over Stella.

But that takes time and money to get mould them into what you want them to be, you just need to see the raw stuff the person is made of.

They should change the title of the show now IMHO.

stuart baggs would never have been chosen, even right from the start. i don't know why they allow entrepreneurs on (other than for the sake of tv), as usually if they do make it through to the interviews, they are asked why they want to work for someone else if they already have a business - especially one in this case which is apparently turning over £3m. it's happened in previous series. any prospective employer would see the exisiting business as a distraction for the apprentice, and LAS has asked before why on earth anyone who worked for themselves would consider working for someone else - it's a retrograde step.
