Baggs "I'm still a bit of a cock" - haha.

He's done well out of this and will go far once he finds his niche and gains some experience.

Should have been Liz and Stella in the final. Well done to The Brand though. He fought his corner and showed he wanted it more last week.

I fully agree with you.

Putting aside if I think he would be right for the role in question.

With everything Stuart had said, and I must assume filled his CV with.

If the only thing they could find to trip him up on the is the "stretched" interpretive of what a telecoms provider is classed as, then it says a lot.

If they had found gaping holes, then fair enough, but to focus on that and call him an out and out liar and full of **** based on that one thing is pretty pathetic really.

I'm happy for Stella though

Much as Baggs aggarvated me throughout the series I thought he came across really well with Dara. I think the "I'm still a bit of a cock" comment won me over

It's quite ridiculous really.

Baggs has spent ages in the company of LS' advisors monitoring him, who should be informing Sugar adequately, then because of a quibble over the definition of 'fully-licensed', Sugar suddenly declares Stuart as 'full of **** and lies'. It shows just how much the show is set up for dramatic effect really.

...and surprising that the BBC should use that sort of comment about someone when all he did was take part in a reality TV show, was he any more full of **** than most of the others on the show.

For all we know, the cleaner could be running a tiny cleaning firm with her sisters, she calls herself a businesswoman and Sugar gives her a sob-story goodbye pat on the head. Can't think why that should be

I have to echo what a lot of others have said here. The whole Baggs firing was a damp squib IMO. They pick him up on a technicality and that makes him a big liar? He was actually the one person who answered the biggest lie question honestly, and when questioned about it he pretty much 'fessed up with a frank "it was a mistake but I was young." Even Claude (who seemed by far the hardest one to please) commented on Baggs knowing his tech onions. Meanwhile he gets undone by Bordon "I don't know what ISP stands for" and some bloke who could do with taking charisma lessons off Chris.

The positive thing is that Baggs should have never got that far anyway, but he cetainly shouldn't have gone on the basis of what we saw tonight. He was probably the strongest candidate along with maybe Stella. Jamie and Chris squirmed their way through their interviews, and the less said about Joanna the better.

Typical "reality" TV really.....

I am sure that it did not take folks here too long to realise that AS has his winner in mind pretty much from the word "go" and that the show is a perfect vehicle for him to build up the drama a bit with his 'difficult decisions' schtick. He has his winner picked, so then it does not matter if they end up in the losing team every week, he just doesn't fire them. As one of the main factors of the show, it is just fine because the nature and structure of the show are designed and presented to hide it.

The trouble with last night's episode was that it became glaringly bleeding obvious, even to me! How?

WTF was that with Stuart? Jo gets a pat on the head and The Brand gets told that he is a liar and dismissed? He was no more a liar than previous entry, Lee "That's what I'm talking about" McDonald, and he ended up wining the show. But it was that actual nature of the niggle they had with him. He may have expressed it to big himself up, but the fact remains that his telecoms company was fully licenced for the service it was providing. To reject that as a mere nothing was ludicrous and obvious.

I actually feel sort of bad for Stuart. Yes he was brash and full of wildly OTT BS, but he is just a boy, and he did have potential and despite his overactive ego and mouth (not to mention his raging masculinity) he along with Stella - Sugar's obvious preferred pick - was probably the most sound candidate there.

Chris is odd. He has that 'look' when he is under pressure...head back and to the side a little, panicky eyebrows, scared eyes. If I saw that staring at me from the other side of a boardroom table I'd soil myself! It seems his ability to lie without hesitation or a shred of guilt, and his very-hands-on "****** off you fat ******" with Stuart and his "20% of gross" cock-up (and let's not make any mistakes here, it was not a shrewd plan, it was a cock up) during the Bus Tour didn't phase AS one bit. Because he is so not going to win.

And yes, Karen Brady did look totally yummy and delish on '...Fired' last night.

I've always had the impression that Jamie's accent is fake. He seems to pause before talking, possibly to think, but to make sure he keeps it up. It sounds very false - he's being careful to pronounce things correctly but sometimes a bit OTT.

Did also think the firing of Stuart was a bit harsh and quite strange, given that Sugar's kept him in when he could've fired him many times before.

Chris is very dull and, as much as he went off the boil a bit in the latter stages, I thought Stella/Jamie final would seem better. I did want a Stella/Stuart final though!

It was Lee McQueen from a couple of years ago - a bigger lie exposed on his CV and went on to win. That did cross my mind too last night with Stuart's grilling.

Yes, that was it, thank you. I knew it was a Scottish name.

Yes, him. Though I thought he was actually OK, it seems that telling lies will either work for you, or not, Sugar can use it either way.

I still cannot get over Chris' "20% off the top" total blunder. No one gets 20% of gross. EVER! Only the Cosa Nostra. And yet, through blind ignorant luck, they won and he was hailed as a hero, when even he was saying that it was a mistake, hence the grovelingly cringe worthy attempt at a retraction.

Isn't that a strange first name. Do you think that his parents were reverse ventriloquists, and really wanted to call him Gordon?

Strange too that Baggs had to ask him his name (unless he was stalling), and joanne hadn't a clue about the business. Do none of these watch previous seasons?
