The Royal Bodyguard!!

Did anyone watch this crap!!?? Tell me I wasnt alone.

Has tv suddenly gone mad. It was like Johnny English written by 6 yr olds.

Good God it was rubbish, poor old Del boy. He cant be skint can he?

Every cliche you could think of. It made Mrs Brown afterwards look like the work of Shakespeare.

Its worse tho, it wasnt just a one off its a series. Its worse than that circus debacle with Amanda Holden.

Caught the first half by accident; a stinker of absolutely colossal proportions. I hadn't heard of it and didn't realise that it was supposed to be comedy.

Gave up after 10 minutes, slap-stick comedy doesn't work nowadays. It just wasn't believeable that a bafoon would be that high up abd with so much responsibility.

I watched in amazement that so many people could have worked collaboratively on this and not one of them noticed it wasn't at all funny.

If it was put on CBBC it would be insulting for kids. Why was it on at 9.30? Why did David Jason sign up to it? Why did they make six episodes of it?

was thinking this when it was over last night. Found myself wondering what exactly was funny in any of it.

Watched 5 minutes and cringed all the time. I love David Jason but this type of ***** will ruin his good name.

I saw Davd Jason plugging this on The One Show last week and even he didn't seem convinced about it! He was almost apologetic about it and said he hoped people would like it but 'if they dont then perhaps I've made a big mistake'.

WOW, i didn't think this kind of TV got made anymore, truly truly terrible, all that was missing were a collection of racist and homophobic gags.

It was like some saw 'When the whistle blows' from Extras.

Also David Jason looks about a 120 years old.

It was Johnny English crossed with Bean, but with all the decent gags and slapstick removed. It's difficult to see how this got signed off on, it's that bad. Watching an ancient Del Boy 'Judo Chop' a suit of armour to the floor because he thought there was a sniper inside was painful.

It was quite possibly the worst thing I have seen all year, and that includes the accidental 10 seconds of east enders I saw whilst channel flicking once.
