What could have caused the 18 rating? I know there's often lots of swearing in the American extra features but that shouldn't push it up that far!

Something nasty in the deleted scenes maybe?

EDIT: The Digital Bits has confirmed the US release date of July 28 from their sources.

So the Blu-Ray set will definitely have 4.0, 4.5 and Caprica in it? I wonder if Caprica will be a seperate disc or as part of S4?

Also, I hope they have all the relevant webisodes and web-series at the start of each season. That would be cool.

If all of the above happens I'll buy it.

The above is a dvd only bundle, no Caprica in the blu ray set I wouldnt think. Could be proved wrong though!

By 'Complete Series' they definately mean the Mini Series and all 4 seasons. No word on Razor or the Plan being included - though Razor is the more likely inclusion of the two.

Complete Blu-ray set? I'm in. Now I've just got to sell my Battlestar DVDs.

Oops I meant Razor, not Caprica (I'd just been looking at the details for the new series)

Ah I see

Razor was part of the production order for S4, so I'd honestly say its a given. We'll prob find out from the bbfc soon enough though.

Latest disc ratings on the bbfc today confirm the prescence of the 'Resistance' webisode series on the Season 3 discs...

I never got past half way through season 2. Can't wait to buy this set and work my way through them! Must buy for me! I know lots has said about how much the quality of the series goes down after the second series but as a sci-fi fan I just can't resist.

Excellent. Looks like I'll be buying this then. Only problem will be waiting knowing S4 is already out on DVD.

So the Blu_Ray editions are not gonna be different from those already released on DVD then.

Uh, well...
None of these extra features have been released on Region 2 DVD before. Plus I'm fairly certain that the 'commentary on every episode' is brand new, as is the PiP trivia track

More stuff from the BBFC over the weekend. Without posting full disc listings, as they all feature a similar pattern of extras, the new stuff includes:

- Extended Cut of 'Unfinished Business' [the Boxing Episode] which has never been released in the UK.
- Various extras from the US release of season 4.0
- All extras from 'Razor'

What we're gonna get is an international release on BR thats identical, and feature all the R1 content at last. Death to the Playback releases!

Now if only it comes in at less that £40 delivered

I'm not sure whether to watch as broadcast now, or wait for this set and *avoid all spoilers*. Not easy

Apparently several of the closing episodes of season 4 will be in extended cuts on home video, if it helps your decision

That's is quite tricky. I've no desire to watch the Boxing episode again in any format, never mind an extended one. This is going to be a lovely, lovely box set, mind.

So long as the UK release doesn't come out before the extended episodes are finished and so we miss out (again). But so far it looks like this is going to be one excellent set.
