i thought this task was really difficult, expecting idiots who arent really cooks, to become experts within a few hours. However, both teams were crap yet again. But this time the right person was fired.

SAS had it spot on when he told the boys they were all useless at the end.

So far, Sara I think will go far , if only for the eye candy. Simon is the best of a bad bunch of boys.

At this point Simon is the only one with any smarts and obviously SAS has spotted this a bit.
Such great entertainment though!
They need to get the (fit) boys to get their kit off though!

Bunch of morons. Going to Tesco for their food indeed. If they truly didn't have time to go to the wholesalers then they could at least have gone to Lidl for the basics, would have been loads cheaper.

WTF was that "Bollywood dancer" bloke about?

Well at one point, where they only sent half a pizza out then I was watching from behind my hands for a few seconds. That guy who they sent it out too, looked like he was going to lamp someone

Only one that seems to be above the rest with the guys is Simon.

What is it with lucinda and the fish night tights and the beret

Only woman that is any way reasonable looking is that irish best sales woman in the Europe but she is obviously deluded

Totally agree with tonights firing

Watching Celebrity Apprentice USA at mo as well and finding it a good laugh.

I think the Irish girl and Sara (sp?) are the only remotely decent looking ladies. Why they showed that whale coming out of the shower I don't know.

Decent show tonight. Nick looked bored at the Bollywood night but a friend tells me he was quite the partygoer at the BAFTAs recently!!

As we are discussing the really important issues on the show, can I just say that Alex deserves to win for his pouty lips. And his superman pj's last week

The right person definately went today but I have to say that the task was a bit unfair. I don't think they should have had to cook as it isn't a skill that you would require for the job (unless this year's apprentice is going to be working in the Amstrad canteen ).

I was convinced the dancer was a stripper at one point!

I actually think they proved what a goldmine a restaurant can be, given that those two groups of numpties managed nearly a grand in profit between them. The right person went, but it could have so easily been different. If the boys had got cheap flyers, flogged them like the girls did, and bought wholesale, they'd have won this task easily. The Bollywood idea was a nightmare, but thanks to the girls keeping the costs down and selling tickets like crazy, they managed to pull it off.

My favourites for the last four at this point are Simon, Raef, the chubby girl who didn't like the Bollywood theme, and the Irish girl (who I reckon is favourite to win).

Or merges the threads, been as there's more discussion of this episode here than the "official" thread.

But, again, the show is no longer really about "the job". It's about making good TV. If all they had to do was go hire a couple of cooks and a couple of waiters and then sit back, there'd be far less scope for them to muck stuff up, and it would be a far less muppetastic programme.

I did laugh at the comment early on where he'd negotiated a "100% discount" from £2 to £1

Why did skanky ginnock Jenny have to answer the phone this week! I was hoping for Alex, sans pjs!
A highlight of the last series was how little Simon would wear to answer the phone each episode!

I don't think so. IIRC it was project manager Ian who couldn't spell accent (glad it wasn't just loser he had trouble with), and Alex whose grasp of maths was a bit loose, though they both pale in comparison with "banker" Kevin's ineptitude.

Oh yeah, Kevin's 'maths' when trying to work out how many tomatoes to buy:

'To serve soup for 4, you need 10 tomatoes. So, for 15 orders you need........er..........150 tomatoes'.

Almost up there with the Syed (I think) last year with the '100 chickens for 100 pizzas' thing.

Lucinda wearing another stupid hat...

I'm not liking Kevin at all, despite his 'motivational' pep talk - the final nail in the coffin was when he walked back into the house & shouted 'Booyaka'
