I did indeed fill my boots and ordered 13 titles off DVDCrave the other day with the February 10% off code and it worked out at £5.50 each even with delivery costs, ordered in groups of 4 to avoid customs charges.

2 lots of orders shipped today and the rest are almost all there ready to ship so they have been getting stock in this week.

They stated in an e-mail to someone that they mark all their packages as $30 and as GIFT as well, so no worries about customs either.

It's tricky traversing these firesales. I've ordered Heroes for £14... GREAT!
but there's three HD DVDs I want and they never seem to come up as low as what I want to pay for them. :P

The cheapest I can find Disturbia is $18.95 (us) Face Off is $17.95 and Hollywood Land... can't remember what that was, but it was too much.

Some places have spoiled my expectations.

When do people think the firesales are going to peak? At some point things are going to take dive then stuff like Beowulf are going to get a small hike because it's recent.... then there's going to be nothing new available at all.
Timing is going to be crucial.
The timing of the EzyDVD "beat the bomb" deal might be a fairly good indication of exactly when the final shipment dates of new products is......... In Australia at least. They clearly cut in early by selling preorders to make sure they get rid of it all. Considering they must have made a profit from selling at those prices, and Australia wasn't exactly cheap for HD DVDs before anyway, then it might go crazy towards the end of March with places like amazon selling for $5-10.
What do people think?

DVDCrave seem to be running out. Have ordered 12 discs in in 3 orders from them.

Been advised that "We have just been informed the HD DVD version of Smoking Aces, Dantes Peak, Hot Fuzz and Total Recall
have been cancelled with the recent demise of the HD DVD format.

We are in the process of removing this item from your order, so then your
order will be shipped.

It was before, they've probably got a deal with some supplier to buy x copies of each at discounted price and delivered (to them) then.

Whereas DVD Crave seem to have the stuff in stock and are clearing it out as they go. (had my two Paramount titles shipped from the latest clearance sale shipped overnight)

Went for Battlestar S1 from Ezy. I've been mulling this one over for a while, but at just over £18 delivered it's too big a bargain to pass up.

Despite the bad reviews, its only the miniseries that looks quite iffy at times. The final episodes are simply stunning.
I think the low reviews are due to that inconsistency.
