London Ink

starts tonight on discovery real time
headed up by louis molloy. ive had 3 tats done by him and seeing his "straight talking" and abrupt personality, it will be interesting to see how he handles running this show.
his work is amazing and im really looking forward to it

Yes, I've just watched this. It was pretty interesting but I'd rater have seen more focus on the actual tattoos. Mind you, I've not really watched any of the other '...Ink' programmes on Discovery, so I don't know if they're all the same or not.

I'm also wondering how long ago it was filmed, as the cigarette packet done on 'Polo Mint' guy is up on Louis Malloy's site's gallery pages.

Couldn't believe how many times they made reference to David Beckham though. Wasn't there some fuss about who 'owned' that design recently?

Me too - I'm guessing there will be a London Ink weekend in a few weeks (like last weeks Miami Ink weekend) so will catch it then.

I watchde it too last night - was ok, but I prefer Miami Ink still.

Very dissapointed there is an American and a Kiwi on the show, I wanted more Brit based artists to get the exposure they deserve.

Compared to Miami Ink thought London Ink was very poor and boring and as for them supposedly being the best the UK has to offer would hate to see what the worse can do.Does anyone know when Kat Von D's new tattoo tv show LA Ink will be coming to UK screens ?
