I thought ep6 was the most "forced" so far - which LD was accused of in previous series ie he gets himself into scrapes, but believable scrapes - "beloved ****", drinking Cheryl's mum's water etc but the signing thing was just a little far fetched. Funny all the same.

I think that qualifies as the same scene as it showed the contrast of what Lewis what up to as Larry lay dying in bed. In fact it cut from Larry in bed to Lewis on the beack and back to Larry if I remember.

How about the scene this week with Leon on Larry's phone? I think that counts as one without Larry.

Maybe it's Larry or something belonging to Larry? Or maybe it's a Seinfeld/Superman type myth.

It's probably a myth -- the nature of the show means that we see Larry most of the time anyway, so it's easy to think it's true.

decided to give this a try after it appearing so high in the all time comedy show lists etc...

seen up to end of season 2 so far, and quite a bit of it is not so funny, seems very hit and miss. a few episodes are very funny though - classics even, but does it even out and become more consistent than the first 2 seasons???

I've not found a single poor episode, I laugh all the way through and then for days after finding myself in similar situations.

I watched Seinfeld after watching Curb, still found Curb class though.

I think Season 2 is my favourite out of the lot, so ... either keep watching or get yourself into Larry type situations =)

It's been claimed that Superman appears in every episode of Seinfeld, mainly because there's a picture of him on Jerry's fridge. But it's not true: the easiest counter-example is season 2's The Chinese Restaurant, set entirely in the restaurant and therefore with Jerry's fridge nowhere in sight.
