Excellent episode this week, the energy and craftmanship involved was amazing and what a gorgeous location.

The people involved were genuinely down to earth and intensely likeable. The project was completed almost entirely off their own bat due to their diligent hard work.

Very pleased for them
Agree with that. This couple set themselves a prodigious target, with very limited funds, and achieved a truly handsome result, on time, and without any of grandiosity, miscalculations, panics and stupidity that we've seen in some other projects. At several points Kevin posed loaded questions about finance/timescale that seemed designed to panic/demoralise the couple. They put him down very dismissively with replies along the lines, "We don't have time to worry about that, we're too busy getting on with the job".

The couple came across as the best kind of English people.

Watching the Live series this week has given me new respect for the host. He seems even nicer and more likeable than on the main show. If I was gay he'd get some.

I do wish they'd get someone else to edit and direct shooting the houses they have in the show, though. I never really feel I have managed to see the finished pieces at all, just snapshots of bits of them.

Of course he seems nice! It's probably the easiest few million pounds he's ever made, this week

The presenter GREATLY annoys me on tv. He always starts out so damn negatively with projects last 2/3 years in some cases. ******* cheer up you miserable old sod.

lol, just what we need in the credit crunch, rich loonies bragging about their wacky houses

I see it follows Relocation, Relocation - the ultimate property bragging programme, when one house isn't good enough so we need to have two - didn't realise a new series of that had started ... C4 must have kept it quiet for fear of reposessed homeowners firebombing their office.

looking forward to this

this house (not too far from here) is apparently going to feature at some point - hopefully it's this series. http://www.home-revolution.com/dumble.html.
oh, and it's for sale - for a credit-crunch-busting £4.5m!! (not even sure it's completed yet)

We were talking at work today, That because of the Credit Crunch there must be people who can no longer afford the morgages and bank loands they took out to finance some of these projects/homes, As I'm sure a lot of them borrowed more than they could afford and it was at a time when Banks were throwing money at people

Been watching some of the older series repeats on E4, so glad to see this back on our screens.
Gone off the other C4 property shows since they started playing with the format too much.

Agreed, the other shows have just turned into "lets see what these ****tards do next". The Sarah Beeny ones have changed from being about property to being about watching people make a mess of the home they are trying to sell.

The other show relocation? with preggers and baldly just seems to have complete numpties who want houses they can't afford so we have a whole show with preggers going mad and baldy trying to get them to see sense.
