Setanta sports - any experience?

I want to subscribe to setanta sports, but only for one month. Any ideas what they are like for cancelling? Do they make you jump throiugh hoops etc? On their website it says I need to give 30 days notice in writing, so does that mean after signing up I need to write to them straight away? Or can it be done online? I've read that getting through to their CS is not easy....

There is a connection fee to pay, so it will be expensive for just a 1 month subscription.

Hmmmmm, when I signed up for the £10 a month (in August I think) there was no connection fee.

I think the £10 connection fee varies on which method you use to sign up. I did it online and didn't get charged a fee.

I bought a freeview box with connection fee and one month's sub included, however they charged me £30 for some reason and I am still chasing my refund. CS is pretty lame.
