Best compact stand mount speakers for under £100?

I'm moving into a smaller flat for uni, and I'm looking to save space. I was going to use a pair of PC speakers to connect to my TV / PS2 / Xbox, but then I realised I could probably get something a lot better by buying some cheap (price wise) compact speakers which I can connect to my Alpha 1 amp.

I nicked my sister's pair of Denon speakers (they came with her mini separate, think they are the Denon SCM10K), and they don't sound too bad.

Their dimensions were:

D: 190mm
W: 140mm
H: 240mm

Height wise I could probably go slightly taller, but I don't want anything wider or deeper really.

I have a gash pair of B&W 601 S2s lying around which I can't use because they're too big, so I would probably sell those to pay for these. So around £100 is the limit, although something around £60 would be better
