I thought the pace of the epilogue was a bit jarring. But I see why they did it.

I found that one too. My horse knew before I opened the door, as he started going mental and ran off.

PC release confirmed 5th Nov on Epic and Rockstar launchers - with pre-order bonuses.

Steam in Dec - which is probably whhat I will have to go for as I just don't want more launchers.

I'll probably get the pc version when it's been out for a bit, and modders have had chance to remove all of the boring stuff from it.

Nice! I've been saying to my friends since Epic was invented that that was the game they needed to land lol. I wonder how many millions that exclusive set them back?

[edit]
just seen its only a month exclusive. not a lot then i guess.

On the launcher front, you'll have to use Rockstar Launcher anyway if it's anything like GTA5. At least its a LOT better than the crappy Social Club was.
Since I'm quite a gaming addict I have tons on Epic anyway. Since that's where all the good games are now.

£55 for the free upgrade to special edition on Rockstar Launcher. Someone has worked out you effectively get $105 worth of free stuff on Rockstar. $10 worth on other non-steam stores. Nothing free on Steam.

So after 23rd it'll cost £55 for the base game and £70 for the special edition.

Free stuff for Rockstar Edition before the 23rd:

Choice of two free Rockstar Games PC titles from the following:
Grand Theft Auto III
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Bully: Scholarship Edition
L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition

Free Upgrade to the next edition up (Normal to Special, Special to Ultimate)

Outlaw Survival Kit for Story Mode
War Horse for Story Mode
Treasure Map for Story Mode
Cash Bonus for Story Mode
50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online

Not seeing $105 worth of free stuff, those games must cost pence nowadays. I remember when Oblivion or something was mocked for selling **** like special horses, seems to be the norm now.

The maths (not mine) is based on the RRP of everything. Which in turn is based upon you not owning the two most expensive games. And for maximum value happening to want them whilst still not owning them despite the fact they've been out years.

Personally I only don't own one of the games in the list and did have a vague want for it. But it wasn't one of the most valuable. Outside of the games you get $20 worth of free edition upgrade and $20 worth of in game currency. Other platforms (not steam - steam gets nowt) get $10 of in game currency and nothing else.
