Anyone use Airplay through Windows?

I purchased Airfoil to try and set up Airplay on my main PC to push the audio out to speakers in a different room (purely to make life easier). All works fine for 60 minutes then the connection drops with the speakers not showing within Airfoil.

Only remedy I have found is unplug the network cable from the speakers for a second, reconnect then they show up again for another 60 minutes

WiFi isn't an option due to the Norman Collier effect on flac files.

From what I have read most people blame BT routers, but although I am with BT I am using a TP link router.

Any suggestions before it goes through the window.

TIA.
