Recommend some raunchy TV dramas from the last 2 decades

Anyone recommend some raunchy TV dramas from the last couple of decades ? I finally got round to watching The Lakes a few weeks back, after getting the full set for a fiver. Really enjoyed it - great acting, writing & storylines - but not half as raunchy as I'd hoped for !

The ones I can remember and recommend are -

The Camomile Lawn - with Felicity Kendal, Jennifer Ehle, Tara Fitzgerald. Good fun, and lots of boobs. A must-see for genre fans ! Less than £8.

Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit - lesbian coming-of-age, very moving & tender, iirc. Less than £7.

Moll Flanders - with Alex Kingston (ER). 'Bawdy' romp, but I seem to remember a repetitive stroryline (and she doesn't get treated too well !). Available for a fiver.

Dennis Potter - The Singing Detective and Blackeyes - bit of an acquired taste, these, but I particularly like the first.

The Tribe - bit weird this, and only recommended for the delightful Anna Friel.

I've heard about Tipping The Velvet but not seen it yet. (Ooh ... it's only £3.49 @ Amazon... )

Anyone recommend any more ?

ahh yes, thanks - I've heard of Red Shoe Diaries but never seen. Not a huge Duchovny fan, but will add this to my list.

What is it with you and this 'raunchy' cobblers, here and the movie forum. Are you trying to introduce your wife gently to porn?

Not my wife, your mum. Thanks for the trolltastic contribution.

Thanks, never heard of this. HBO - sounds good, if a bit downbeat.

Now I did watch a couple of these, but found it a bit empty and out to shock (and failing). This Life is much better.

Californication doesn't really appeal. Heard of Rome - will take a look. Not seen True Blood ... hmmm ... not so sure about the "fantasy" theme, but will read up further.

Very gory, but most of it is cartoon violence so the effect is lessened. There are some real genuine wince-inducing moments, though.

I remember The Singing Detective being very interesting to me as a teenager!

Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit is pure brilliance - not for the naughty bits though. Although it doesn't hurt.

Spot on !

Looks perfect, along with FingerSmith : The Complete BBC Series [2005] - also £3.97 and The History Of Tom Jones[1997] for a fiver.

Woz - yes, Detective and Oranges are superb dramas, with naught bits.

Are you implying I even know where the ITV button is on the remote? I'll have my footman bugger you for such impertinance.
