Comic Strip - sex, actually

How bad was this?! Inept on every level without even a decent amount of smut to make up for the complete absence of laughs. That it got commissioned at all is a miracle and, although I enjoyed her travelogue series on Five, one wonders what they were smoking over at C4 to have Cleo Rocos as an executive producer!

Easily the worst programme I‘ve seen all Xmas.

i turned off after 10 mins. There was more laughs on the ITV Prince Charles drama.

Woeful stuff.

In keeping with about 90% of the rest of the Comic Strip shows then? I have to say this one never looked worth watching to me.

i'd agree with that comment. I haven't watched the comic strip since the late eighties and all the memories came flooding back with the bomb dropping at the beginning and "have a nice day"....then the program started. haven't been this disappointed since the last OFAH. Only worth watching for the bird out of two pints of lager..

But as has been said there was a lot of crap between the 5 go mad in dorset/fistfull of travellers cheques/mr jolly lives next door etc

I agree with all of the above - desperate stuff..

Having watched the Comic Strip box set, they only ever seemed to have around a 20% sucess rate - when they were good, they were VERY good, but there was a lot of dross and padding in those series.

smug and obviously made for the benefit of those making it....it was bad and a disgrace that so many other comedians could have done with the opportunity

I've recorded it and not watched it yet, but I do seem to remember that Comic Strip were generally rubbish and not anywhere near as good as the talent involved would suggest.

So after being told it is against the rules of this forum you still leave the request in place leaving me with no option other than to issue a warning for this.

Sorry again - I guess I have learnt the hard way. (sulks off to another forum).
