Finally got round to seeing this.

Very good and a far better outing than the previous recent outings.

Was the prison scene the only credits extra ? Had to go straight after that as my son needed a wee

Very enjoyable. A clunky start though, didn't like the phone footage element and not very forgiving for the average person. Got loads better especially with Superman type action , way better than just villains.

That does look good, the only thing is the mass audience going to watch a "cartoon" of spiderman at the cinema?

Well my kids will be buying tickets. They've watched that trailer about 50 times since they got home from. School.

Lego movies are a bit different as it appeals to wider audience and its CGI looking . This spiderman film might be all CGI but it looks like a cartoon, eg people will watch a live action batman film but the non-comic fans isn't going to watch comic film (Their loss for this as into the spider verse looks great)

I went to a preview screening this afternoon...

IT'S FRICKING AMAZING!!!!111

Not only is it the best Spider-Man man movie it's probably the best comic book movie.

Smart story telling. Stunning animation, tonnes of references for the geeks and the best end credits gag yet.

It's a really odd quirk of TDF that people regularly post stuff about new films on a an old film's thread.

It's a thread about Spider-Man films.

Sorry if that offends you.

It's a thread that is specifically about Spider-Man: Homecoming. If this new film is as good as you say it is then I think it warrants its own thread, and you are more likely to let more people know about it that way than bumping a thread about homecoming. I think that's sound advice anyway!

Someone start a thread. I need some advice as to how I go about convincing the wife to go see an animated spiderman movie at the cinema with me.... and no kids.
