Question Whats Your 23 man England Squad for Euro 2016? (or what ever team you support)

Welcome

Joe Hart STARTS
Jack Butland
Fraser Forster (if he proves fitness)

Kyle Walker STARTS
Nathaniel Clyne
Phil Jagielka
Kieran Gibbs
Gary Cahill
John Stones STARTS
Chris Smalling STARTS
Leighton Baines STARTS

I Picked Jagielka over Phil Jones

Eric Dier STARTS
Dele Alli STARTS
Fabian Delph STARTS
Ross Barkley
Theo Walcott STARTS
Milner
Ox
Raheem Sterling

No Shelvey, Mason, Lallana, Henderson Or Wilshere for me but I think Henderson will get chosen to go if fit

Jamie Vardy STARTS
Harry Kane STARTS
Sturridge (if he proves fitness)
Danny Welbeck (if he proves fitness)

I doubt we will see a 442 but if we did then Vardy and Kane would be great. For me Rooney will still go but he shouldn't be starting. I want Sturridge but I just don't think he will fit for it, if ever again. Welbeck again fitness. Would anyone bring back Glen Johnson?

Thinking of you

Mas

Rooney will start, along with anyone else who is on the poster advertising the new kit for sale. Would love to see Vardy get a decent run in the side, but I'd guess he won't.

Drinkwater and Vardy should both be in the team.
They won't, but they should be.

He'll play Rooney and try and play him alongside a crippled sturridge, you don't become an FA yes man by trying something new

Danny Drinkwater is exactly the player England have been crying out for.
I hope he makes the squad for the tournament.

46 bloody years I have waited, 1970 world cup we are 2-0 up & Germany win 2-3. Tonight they go 2-0 up & we win 2-3 in their own back yard, a disallowed goal for them making it the icing on the cake... 46 bloody years. Yeaaaayyy.

I'd take Rachel Riley as midfielder . That would distract the other team for a start.

One swallow doesn't make a spring, but I can't see a permanent place for Rooney now.

I think she's ineligible, she has one cap for the Republic of Ireland. Bloody Irish grandparent.

I'm worried he will try and fit Rooney in but would love to see him stick with that team....although he could lose Henderson and Llallana IMO

I thought the same thing, some outstanding performances from the newcomers helped hide some pretty lacklustre ones from the regulars. I have a little confidence in the team, its nice we're showing ourselves we can beat the bigger teams!

Rooney deserves better.

I've said it before, I'm sure he's required to play the players who sell the most England shirts.

He's 100% right , it's would be very wrong to ditch a captain who led a team to 10 out of 10 qualifiers when he picks up an injury . Rooney deserves to be in that team.

If we are taking 4 strikers I think it should be Kane, Vardy, Welbeck, Rooney. Difficult to take Sturridge as he's likely to break at any moment.

Vardy and Kane have been great in the PL, but neither have played in an international tournament or in the CL, it would be churlish to boot out Rooney, just that he shouldn't be an automatic starter. That's what infurates Utd fans, that when he's not on form he gets a free pass.

Its players like Lallana, Milner and Henderson that need to be shunted from the first team (its not anti Liverpool, honest) - good players, but not top draw and never will be, but now they are blocking talented youngsters who could be great. I'd put Gary Cahill in that bracket as well, except we have a dirth of decent CB'S.

Very un-English, looking exciting going forward, ropey at the back, no world class defenders.

Yea I agree to boot Rooney out wouldn't be the right thing but I don't think he should be considered an automatic starter.....on a personal note I would sooner he went with a bunch of youngsters who gave it a bloody good go but didn't get too far rather than some of the poor defensive stodgy we tend to play at competitions....and agree with you about the Liverpool bunch.
