Sutil is convinced he's going to win the case, although I guess most people that go to court are. Agreed it doesn't help his chances though.

I hope Senna wipes the floor with Maldonado. The Brazilian might not have shown much promise thus far, but at least he seems a nicer man than the thuggish Maldonado.

I moved back to Sky (from Virgin) a couple of weeks ago, with F1 HD and ESPN America HD as the primary reasons.
According to this page it's included in the list of HD channels:

There seems to be conflicting information around this, with other sources (a number of them linked to from a thread on the Cable Forum) claiming SD only.

Unless Sky have been forced to provide the HD version behind the scenes, I can't see any reason why they would choose to do it. I hope for the F1 VM customers that it is is in HD, but I still have my doubts!

FIA has banned Lotus Renault's reactive ride height system as a moveable aerodynamic device.

According to Marca, HRT are asking at least 6,000,000€ for that last seat. Favourite to take it is Giedo van der Garde.

Also, Alonso has said in an interview that Vettel still isn't as good as Hamilton.

Apparently that was said before the 2011 season: http://joesaward.wordpress.com/2012/...gy-journalism/

As for the ride height control, that's a shame - although probably more able to be argued as moveable aero than the mass damper (also a Renault invention) when that was banned, it's still a shame given they seemed to have been given the nod to develop it some time ago.

Of course the biggest irony on the ride height control issue is the FIA's utter failure to stop front wings being designed to move/flex so much they drag on the ground, yet still pass the load testing. If that's not moveable aero I struggle to see what is

How much money did Lotus spend on developing that

That could make Raikkonen lose some of the motivation he had before joining the team.

Design pictures of the new Ferrari leaked:

The biggest change is the wings in front of the sidepods. There's more description of it in English here:

All the teams are working on innovative sidepod ideas to try to get the best possible airflow to the rear of the car to make up for the lost downforce from the banning of the blown diffusers. Sidepods offer quite a bit of freedom to the designers.
This is a quote from that Ferrari article. I found it rather amusing because we all know who is most likely to come up with the best idea for the new sidepod design.

I'm not seeing anything, or are you saying they didn't build one?

For me, it's the horrible drop just in front of the front axle - whatever happened to smooth lines? Doesn't look especially aerodynamic, or is that the point, and one of the 2012 changes? Maybe they modelled it with some lego and the ones actually fabricating the car didn't realise it should have been smoothed out somewhat!
