Do you mean Hurray for the Riff Raff?

I checked it out today. Very good.

On top of that I'm liking the new ones from Craig Finn and Blaha

Strong week for releases for me:

Desperate Journalist - Grow Up
Kelly Lee Owens - Kelly Lee Owens

Plus still have Sampha - Process and Spoon - Hot Thoughts, on heavy rotation.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I don't think they sound much like DM but it sounds good so far, so no complaints...

Thank you for pointing me in the direction of Hurray for riff raff really enjoying The Navigator. Quite like the spoon album too.

I'm really terrible at finding decent new music and never know where to look for recommendations.

This weeks listening has all about the Moonlandingz.- interplanetary class classics. A brilliant glam/garage rock/ whatever mash up of an album. Fantasticly dumb yet brilliant at the same time like all the very best rock albums.

New Mastodon album, Emperor Of Sand is pretty good so far. More like The Hunter than anything else I'd say. Needs a good few more listens.

Fantastic few weeks for new releases. New British Sea Power and the debut from The Big Moon taking it for me.

See also Father John Misty, Craig Finn, Goldfrapp, Diet Cig and Desperate Journalist!

The mighty Moonlandingz still on heavy rotation at Majestik towers.

All other new releases pale next to it's magnitude.

( Father John Misty just sounds like Lidl John Grant to me.)

I quite like some of the Father John Misty stuff but I heard his interview with Radcliffie & Maconie and he came across as an enormous bellend.

His image and persona has always put me off seeking out his music even though I have heard lots of good things

Just discovered the Mairearad Green 'Summer Isles' album after King Creosote covered Star of Hope when he played Cardiff. Lovely stuff.
