Help with 80's Australian apocalyptic film - Not Mad Max

I am in need of some help with a film i remember watching years ago and want to see again only i cant remember what it was called.

From what i can remember it was an Australian apocalyptic film set after a nuclear accident or something similar. The film followed 3 survivors, 2 men and a women, the story was about how these 3 survivors were the only ones left and the fight between the 2 men for the woman.

Sorry i cant be more specific but its been 15+ years since i saw it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

It's actually from New Zealand, not Australia. That DVD looks a definite step up from the current UK release (4:3 open matte with a stills gallery the only extra).

Thanks Arkham, knew the forums wouldn't let me down.

Decisions, do i wait and buy the new widescreen DVD for £13 next month or do i order the Fullscreen DVD from Amazon Marketplace for £3.63. Dont know if i can justify spending £13 on a film i've only seen once 15 years ago and may end up thinking is rubbish.
