Blackball

Anyone else looking forward to this film out in September?
It's stars Paul Kaye who was Dennis Pennis (TV series).
If the trailer is anything to go by (not always I know) it should be great.

Cheers, Paul

Saw the trailer the other day, looks really good. I'm a fan of Happy Gilmore & Paul Kaye so really looking forward to it.

Apart from that godawful Ballykiss-lite nonsense and the terrible quiz show, the Kayester can do no wrong IMO. Trailer is v.funny in a Happy Gilmore sort of way so put me down for seeing this.

Where is that Perfect World DVD?

The trailer was on before T3.
It truly looked like the most pathethic, derivitive cheesey crap I haven't seen in a long while. The next day I went into work and told people that I think I might have seen a trailer for the worst film ever.

I was embarassed just watching the trailer - all I could hear from the auditorium was stony silence during all the "funniest bits" collected together for the trailer and then at the end various (unrepeatable) one-word summisations of what they had just seen were passed around between couples. It was not a good experience.

But each to their own.

Phew I thought it was just me.

I just kept thinking to myself 'Why is Vince Vaughn doing this.....why?'

I noticed it's directed by Mel Smith.

Now that must be the kiss of death for the film.

It was premiered in Paignton, near Torquay, the undisputed capitol of the films industry. Suffice to say, I didn't go and see it.
