Super Mario Bros DVD R1

What's happened to this? Supposed to have been released 2 June but no sign of DVDsoon shipping and playusa now have availability as TBA. Was the release postponed?

Got this from Future Entertainment a couple of weeks ago.

Bugger all extras and the picture isn't anamorphic, as far as I can tell.

Bit of a disappointment all in all.

I don't really expect too much for £3.80 so even a decent transfer is a bonus.

Special-K88

Date: 14 February 2002
Summary: more like super stupid brothers

Disgusting, boring, stupendously stupid film based on the popular video game. Hoskins and Leguizamo are brothers/plumbers who have to help princess Mathis fight lizard creature Hopper who lives in a parallel dimension and wants to take over the world or something. Confused yet? Just playing the video game out on a giant screen would have been a better idea then producing this junk. 0/4

why anyone would want to buy this film at any price is beyond me:rolleyes:

If they'd kept Kooper as a big green lizard with a camp heavy smokers voice, it would have been fine.

I went to see this at the cinema when it came out. I had high hopes for it, as I was desperate for a computer related film to be good.

I almost cried, where it was so bad
