Tokyo Fist Oar?

Hello, just wondered if anyone knew the OAR of this Tsukamoto film. Looking at the US dvd it appears to be 4:3, is this the correct ratio or is it a pan scan or what? Also, I am looking to get 'Bullet Ballet' but can't seem to find anywhere to get it from, can anyone help?

Tokyo Fist is filmed in 1.85:1 - and (I might remember wrong - gotta check the disk) the R1 disk is letterboxed at OAR. The dvd's picture is not anything special, but will do for this obscure film.

For Bullet Ballet you should try look for some HK distributors, there is a letterboxed (OAR is 1.85:1) HK disk - some online shops have marked it OOP, but you might still find it. The picture quality is not too hot is this either ...

If you speak japanese or french, there are excellent anamorphic disks for both movies available in France.

Thanks Kanttila. The R1 Tokyo Fist is advertised as 4:3 on all the sites I have seen and after a little research it does seem that 1.85:1 is the correct OAR. Not 100% sure though. Will be sure to check out the HK stores for 'Bullet Ballet' too. Really disappointed with the amount of Tsukamoto available with english subs and with correct OAR etc, can't seem to get much at all. The best disc I have managed to get hold of is the japanese 'Gemini', very nice picture and a few extras too, no subs on extras but they are interesting to see anyway.
Is there any chance of the nice looking french editions being released elsewhere?

Checked the dvd - R1 Tokyo Fist is letterboxed 1.85:1 despite what most online shops inform.
