Looks good. My interest was immediately piqued as soon as I saw
in there. I had no idea he was in the film, let alone (After a couple of minutes researching on imdb) playing

I think the only thing that could top that for the next Spider-Man film is having Kurt Russell in it.

Tidy re-imagining of the Vulture there. Pretty grounded. I liked Garfield very much but Holland really nails this. Both make Maguire look dreadful.

That trailer instantly washes away the stink of the last two(three) films.

Looks promising.

I'll say one thing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe: They sure know how to make all their films look exactly the same.

I used to have a PC like this, it'd load up then just automatically reboot itself straight away, had to pull the plug off in the end.

Looks good though

Sorry, but that looks utter ******* ****.

Kerching. Really, really flogging the dead horse now. The reboots were absolute bilge they made spiderman 3 look like a masterpiece.

How anyone can say this new guy is better than Maguire on the basis of this trailer is crazy.

TB versions will always be the best.

We already know what Tom Holland is like from Civil War, This is basically taking cues from Ultimate Spider-Man like most of the Cinematic Universe with Captain America, Nick Fury ect before Spider-Man was allowed to exist in it.

Agreed, Marvels needs to up their game instead churning out some the same movie with a different character.

Spiderman would be perfect as a body-horror movie. So far all the movies have glossed over the transformation from human into Spiderman. Why not have the spider bite transform him into a spider/human hybrid (Thinking something along Brundle fly looking monster). He could possibly be the one that kills Uncle Ben (so we have that playing on his mind when he does become the spiderman we know) Have Tony Stark and Bruce Banner come up with a treatment to make him more human but like the Hulk there is a potential for him to freak out again.

Granted this would not be one for the kiddies, but we at least get a more original origin story

Spider-Man is crying out for a proper dark outing with Venom and Carnage. R rated, lots of death and violence. That would get my money no question.

One hero that isn't crying out for an R rating is Spider-man. The John Hughes film with super heros is exactly how a Spider film should be done.

Spider-Man films are all a bit samey. Maybe that's just the Spider-Man universe. I'm not asking for something crazy dark, just something to shake things up a bit.

I'll be happy if we can miss the hour of "ooh i'm a dork," "oh look, a spider, hope it doesn't bite me" and "oh no my uncle is dead"

I feel we know the character well enough now.

AFAIK that's all already happened and unless they do a flashback we won't be seeing that.

It looks okay. I'll watch it. I'd have preferred them to go more natural with the Vulture, the whole "bloke invents an exosuit and uses it for evil" bit is becoming a cliché, they need to push the envelope a bit.

Also, Tony Stark getting the best lines in the trailer could be a worry, plus we get another "Spidey holding two really heavy things together with his webbing" scene...

Still, I'm sure it'll be enjoyable

You should check out Earth Vs The Spider, the 2001 Stan Winston creature feature, which does pretty much exactly that.

Latest trailer seems to pretty much give away the entire plot.

Regret watching it now.

So far so generic Spidey-movie, doesn't looking to be breaking any formulas. I'll watch it, but not necessarily sure it'll take us anywhere new...

Came on here to say more or less the same thing. Terrible trailer given how much it reveals, absolutely terrible. The film looks like it should be a continuation of the standard MCU decent to very good standard but it's just a shame we basically know the whole story now.

Looks pretty fun, but I always feel the CGI for spiderman himself looks a little ropey.
