South Park BLU is 20 years old already!

Decided to watch South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut the other night and was surprisingly shocked to discover it was released in July 1999. I can't believe this film is twenty years old already.

The odd thing is it doesn't seem to have aged or dated at all. I don't just mean with regard to the animation (which has always been intensionally "bad"), but I mean with it's humour and subject matter.

I have a few favourite scenes and songs - "It's Easy, M'Kay", "Up There" and "Eyes Of A Child" that played over the closing credits felt fitting.

Anyway, as it's coming up to its twentieth anniversary I just wanted to share and know other fans' opinions.

Personally, I'd love to see a sequel, and maybe we'll get one once the TV show has finally finished.

But for now I'll continue to watch Bigger, Longer & Uncut on a loop and whistle "Shut Your ********* Face Uncle ********" to myself whenever I'm on a bus or train and can hear some inconsiderate idiot shouting down their phone!

Trust me, it really helps!

Grab the Bluray if you can just for the commentary, it's funnier than the film itself!

I was the only punter in the showing I went to. It felt really weird sitting there laughing so loudly with no one else in there

Brilliant film, certainly South Park at its best, it also was a golden age for the series, just been watching the seasons on Now TV (up to 6) they do 3 at a time and there were some genuinely brilliant episodes in that period and very few poor ones.

Not sure about another film, I'm sure they'd do a great job if they did tbh. But whilst its still on TV, it doesn't seem to be that massively pop culture like it was back when the movie was out, t-shirts and the like

You've inspired me to hunt down a cheap copy. I notice that it's only available in the US. Can you confirm whether or not its region free?
