Peter Jacksons classic early films getting 4k remasters

Great news Peter Jackson has confirmed he is working with Weta on doing full 4k remasters on his early films - Bad Taste, Meet the feebles, Brain dead and Heavenly creatures

Ah, man - the memories of watching Braindead at far too young an age! My friends and I were gushing over it the next day at school.

My favourite part of the article,

My only thought is 4K seems a bit of an overkill from something with a 16mm source.
