Doesn't look like it. "Ready Room" doesn't appear on Amazon prime and the google searches seem region locked.

One for the VPNers only it seems. Was is worth watching?

[edit] Actually Scratch that: https://www.facebook.com/StarTrekThe...8755170509929/

[edit/edit] Worth a watch actually, nice bit about the music after the interviews. Wil looking good for his 47 years and still as enthusiastic.

Really enjoyed Red letter media's review of the 1st episode and their ideas on how season 1 ends.

The 1st ep of this show was much better than discovery but there is things a bit naffly written because it makes it easy for the writer.

Some nice work on the CGI touch-up and de-aging between the trailer and the final episode.

Nice easter egg round up here - mind you they missed the Kassidy Yates reference.

If anyone is interested my weekly podcast is doing a Picard review each week. The round table discussion includes one die hard Trekie and two casual fans so hopefully we can have a balanced discussion. It's SPOILER heavy and some NSFW language occasionally.

The discuss for Picard stars at 1:09:15. Available from most Podcast platforms.

Episode 2 was very good - an improvement on what I thought was a very slow first episode

Agreed, the sooner they get away from the superhuman fighting abilities which seems to dog modern Trek it all seems to work a lot better.

Yep have to agree she seemed so ****** at Picard you could almost feel the venom in her response.

Great episode all round, loving what I am seeing so far.

Who looks at Nerak and thinks this guy would be more at home on the Vampire diaries?

And Laris is fast becoming a favourite, all the best lines.

Not so sure about the device Laris used at the beginning seemed far too far fetched even for Star Trek and most of technobabble info dump at the beginning went over my head.

Definitely too much technobabble there.

The only reason that scene was ultimately acceptable for me was because Laris is so great

Swearing was fine by me.

I like the fact that they aren't presenting Picards problem with Starfleet as being black and white.

There's at least some subtly in the writing there which I'm grateful for.

Anyway I'm enjoying it so much that I'm now going to hold off viewing till near the end. One per week is annoying the hell outta me.

strong swear words in star trek does not work, it seems very forced to make it "edgy" it was laughable in STD and not good in this. Not sold on racist starfleet/federation and the fact the romulans didn't have any ships to save their people)

Really this should of been part of the 1st episode (but as its 10 episodes I can see why they are staggering them)

Not sold on Starfleet/federation being ok with creating a slave race either.

I think folks need to look at the history of swear words in Trek. In the 60s there are no utterences of damn and only one of hell. Both those were considered offensive and not to be used on TV in the US.

Damn and hell became a lot more acceptable in network TV in the 80s, and see McCoys use of the word alot in the movies.

Does anyone remember what Kirk called the Klingons when they killed his son? The word used to describe a child born out of wedlock

Remember what Scotty called the Klingon who he bet killed her father? The word for a female dog

What did Data say when the Enterprise was about to crash? Everything knows this one right?

Its not about all swear words and as mentioned it feels like added in to be "edgy" and comes across out of place

There was no need for her to use that swear word to picard; the way he was reelling of that list or requirements and then said about his rank she should have laughed; cos I know I did.

They way Tilly used it was even more dumb due to the fact no one chastised her for it cos there all friends
